Today we were all up on time. M was super eager to start, and was asking about Beit Sefer Lemalah as soon as he was dressed. Morning singing and exercise was awesome and energizing. We sat down for a math lesson working on numbers 1 through 10. R went along with the sandpaper numbers, but didn't seem motivated to do anything more. M didn't care for the activity I picked out for him, but wanted to try the sandpaper numbers.... After that, he asked for the Dry-Erase board to write and draw on. R then wanted to do that, too, so I got another Dry-Erase board for him, and both boys worked hard for nearly an hour! R learned about closing markers and putting them back in the bin each time, and M practiced tracing geometric shapes and copying numbers.
After we cleaned up the Dry-Erase boards and markers, we took care of diapers/potty stuff and got R in the stroller. M started out walking, but got in the stroller after about a 1/2 mile. Since it was just us, I went to the store. Playground would be too wet today. On the way home, M had a snack of an apple bar, and at home R had fresh apple and cheerios. Then we read some books. Just on schedule!
Sounds like fun!
